What makes a donation tax deductible in Australia?
A gift is generally deductible when it is $2 or more, made voluntarily to an organisation endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), with nothing material received in return, and you keep a record of it.
How can I donate from Australia?
You can give online or by direct bank transfer from anywhere in Australia. Both options are on the PBG Foundation donate page, and our team can help with larger or recurring gifts.
Is my donation to PBG Foundation deductible?
Ask us for current receipting details before you give, and check your own position with your accountant or the ATO. This site provides general information, not tax advice.
When do I need to give to claim it this financial year?
The gift has to be made by 30 June to count in that financial year. Giving earlier than the final week of June leaves time to confirm receipts and plan larger gifts.
Where does my donation go?
Donations fund PBG Foundation programs in Vanuatu and the wider Pacific, including Unity Park in Luganville, feeder road access on Tanna, post-disaster recovery and child and family safeguarding.
